Briggs and Stratton 36hp Vanguard 993cc engine has been used as the shallow water outboard motor (mud motor) for years. This engine is known for simplicity, durability, and affordability. The stock 36hp engine came with a carburetor which had the shortcoming of a typical carburetor engine: difficult cold start, rough idle, stalls, lack of power, and frequent maintenance. Ecotrons has been supplying an EFI kit to some boat manufacturers to convert this carburetor engine to fuel-injected for 2 years. This EFI kit has been installed on many new Briggs & Stratton 36hp engines. It has been proved to be a solid kit, increasing the engine power, saving the fuel, as well as other EFI advantages. Now Briggs and Stratton has released its own 37hp EFI Vanguard 993cc engine to the market. It is basically the same engine with a factory EFI system. For those who have already owned the carburetor engines, you now have the option to upgrade your carb engine to fuel injected with the Ecotrons EFI kit. This EFI kit includes almost all necessary parts to completely replace the carb fuel system (see below for some adaptation needed). The throttle body and manifold assembly are bolt-on to the engine. It is easy to install for the people who are mechanical inclined. You do NOT need to tune it. You can tune it if you know how to tune EFI. It is a fully programmable EFI system. For those who have the "stage I, or stage II" engines with cam mods, polished ports, shaved heads, and/or after-market exhaust, this EFI kit is a perfect cure for the carburetor related issues. We even have the tuning for stage I or stage II engines ready to ship.
EFI kit for Briggs and Stratton Junior 206 engine

Briggs and Stratton Junior 206 engines have been chosen for Formula SAE engines for its outstanding performance. Ecotrons has a bolt-on EFI kit for this engine. The EFI kit is a complete kit including an intake manifiold with an injector mounted on it, aka, port fuel injection system. This EFI kit has been tuned for Jr. 206 engine, and you do not have to tune it. It is a fully tunable system though if you want to play with it. It is a perfect EFI system for student to learn. EFI brings the proved advantages over carburetors, like easy cold start, great fuel economy, smooth idle and running, fast throttle response, etc.
Honda GX35 Engine Fuel Injection kit

Honda GX35 engines have been used by many college student teams for Shell Eco-Marathon Vehicles. We have sold many fuel injection kits to the college student teams or high school student teams who use the kits to convert the Honda GX35 engines from carbureted to fuel-injected. Some teams also use the kits to convert Honda GX50 engines or similar ones. Our small engine fuel injection kits are small, light, and easy to install. The system is very flexible to fit to any design of the engine and vehicle.
To make it easier for the student teams to install our fuel injection kits, we have made a bolt-on EFI kit for the Honda GX35 engines.This bolt on kit adds a throttle body adapter, so that our throttle body can be directly bolted onto the GX35 engine. We can also supply a Hall effect sensor bracket, so that the sensor can be easily bolted on to the engine block. Our fuel injection kit can control both the fuel and sparks, without any major changes to the engine itself. Instead of replacing the whole flywheel and installing a complicated trigger wheel, our EFI kit reuses the stock flywheel and the magnet(s) on it, and uses that as the timing input for the ECU, so that ECU knows when to fire the injector and the CDI coil. On top of that, our MAP sensor will reads the pulsation pattern of the manifold pressure so that the engine phase info is obtained, and therefore the camshaft position sensor is also saved. Still the fuel injection system is fully sequential!
To save the efforts of the student teams so that they can focus more on the vehicle design and overall integration, we have tuned the EFI kit for the stock GX35 engine. It means the ECU will be pre-loaded with a good base mapping, and, if the kit is installed CORRECTLY, the engine will fire right up and run stably. The users may still need to do some fine tuning, if there are some customer changes to the engine itself.

Kawasaki Ninja 250r Fuel Injection Conversion kit is a retro-fit EFI conversion kit to convert the Ninja 250cc twin-cylinder carbureted engine to the fuel injected engine. This kit is designed to replace the twin 30mm carburetor with the twin 28mm throttle body, and with some other minimal modifications, it can make the engine fuel injected at the low cost. This twin throttle body mimics the Kawasaki's FI version throttle body (28mm), and it can be dropped into the place of the carburetor and make the EFI conversion very easy. Further, the ECU controls both fuel and sparks. Both fuel and spark controls are fully programmable. This kit has all the parts you need for the conversion, and it is tuned already with factory setting.

400cc --800cc EFI Kits

Compared to other Small Engine EFI kits of us, this is a comparatively "large" engine EFI kit. It is designed to convert some carburetor engines of 400cc to 800cc range. Because of larger displacements, everything (almost) needs to be larger size; namely larger fuel pump, larger fuel injector; etc. Besides, this 38mm throttle body comes with an idle control motor built-in. This kit makes it easier for those who still own a carburetor engine in the 400cc to 800cc range, and want to convert it to fuel injected. Same as other kits of ours, this one is easy to install and tune. The key is to make sure your carburetor can be replaced by the 38mm throttle body. Or you may need to machine a spacer. This kit has all the features of the smaller EFI kits, like self-tuning capability. This kit by default will run 1-cylinder engine. For 2-cylinder engines, like V-twin, or parallel twins, more modifications are required, in many cases, a new manifold or new throttle body set will be required. contact us for details.

2 Stroke EFI kits 35cc to 300cc

This fuel injection conversion kit can be used to convert many single cylinder carbureted smalll engines in the range of 35cc to 300cc range. We have 28mm and 34mm throttle bodies to cover the range. In many cases, this EFI kit can be bolted on your engine and start your engine after the installation. Sometime you may need to do some mechanical modifications to fit the throttle body, or the fuel return line. The good thing is that the kit has all the parts to convert a carburetor engine and saves you efforts to source all individual parts. Further more, this kit can do some self-tuing by running close-loop fueling with an O2 sensor. Our ECU has sophisticated self-learning software which can automatically tune itself to run in stoicometric AFR (14.7) in variant operating conditions.
